Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Meet & greet at Kilimanjaro Airport, transfer to Arusha, trip briefing over dinner.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire
Game drive among baobabs and large elephant herds; overnight near the park.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Morning game drive: tree-climbing lions, flamingos and forest elephants; afternoon to Karatu.
Day 4: Karatu to the Serengeti
Via the Ngorongoro highlands and a stop at Olduvai Gorge, cradle of mankind; afternoon game drive to camp.
Day 5: Full day Central Serengeti
Morning and afternoon drives around Seronera, home to the Serengeti’s densest big cat population.
Day 6: Serengeti seasonal sector
Full-day excursion following the season: northern river-crossing areas (roughly July to September) or southern calving grounds (December to March).
Day 7: Serengeti at sunrise
Dawn game drive or optional hot-air balloon safari; relaxed afternoon at camp.
Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Drive to the crater rim with a guided Maasai boma visit en route; sunset over the caldera.
Day 9: Full day Ngorongoro Crater
A full day inside the crater with picnic at the hippo pool; best chance in Tanzania to see black rhino.
Day 10: Fly to Zanzibar
Morning flight from Arusha to Zanzibar; transfer to your beach hotel.
Day 11: Stone Town and spices
Guided walking tour through UNESCO-listed Stone Town and a fragrant spice farm visit.
Day 12: Indian Ocean day
Optional snorkelling trip to the Mnemba atoll or a day of pure beach time.
Day 13: Beach at leisure
Free day to unwind, kayak or dive before the journey home.
